Hi Crafters! I am so excited to be apart of the Linky Party for Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers!
This year there is a great list of sponsors with lots of fun prizes. Just link up to the blog. You can find it here. https://byshcardmakers.blogspot.com/
To start us off here is my holiday card.
For my card, I used the Pink and Main stamp set Holiday Mugs. I colored the coffee cup with alcohol markers. I used a stencil in the background from one of the Crafty Courtyard card kits from Pink and Main. I did a little light ink blending over the stencil. I added a glitter frame with the Cloudy Frame Dies and used another color of glitter paper for the Merry Christmas die cut sentiment. This card was quick and easy!
Make sure you make a Christmas card and link up to the blog to be entered to win!
I am so excited to be apart of the collaboration for Brutus Monroe and Waffle Flower! For the hop I received several Waffle Flower stencils, the new Blending Brushes and the full size Stencil Mat! Let me show you!
The blending brushes are so pretty! I love the colors and it makes it easy to dedicate 1 brush per color family. The stencil mat is my new favorite tool! It helps hold the stencil in place while you are using it and it holds your ink pad in place too! It makes it so easy!
For the collaboration I made 4 cards using the blending brushes with Distress Oxide inks and stencils from Waffle Flower. From Brutus Monroe I used a medium with the stencil and a stamp set. So let me show you what I created!
To create this Halloween card, I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin. Then I used the Waffle Flower Bog Dots Stencil with the Brutus Monroe Night Sky Velveteen Glaze. I stamped and colored images from the Brutus Monroe Seasonal Wreath Stamp Set.
My next card features the Waffle Flower Sunburst Stencil with the Brutus Monroe Metallic Chroma Glaze in Brass. I layered it on top of an ink blended background of Mustard Seed, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany. I used the You are Awesome sentiment stamp set heat embossed in Brutus Monroe Alabaster White embossing powder. I added a few Brutus Monroe Acrylic Bubbles for some bling.
My next 2 cards are Christmas cards. I used the Waffle Flower Holiday Stripes Stencil with the Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in Scarlet. I applied it to an ink blended panel of Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. I then added a plaid ribbon from my stash. I die cut a tree from glitter paper using the new Brutus Monroe Stand Alone Tree Die set. I added the sentiment from the Brutus Monroe Seasonal Sentiments in Alabaster White embossing powder. i added Brutus Monroe Acrylic Bubbles for bling.
My last card today features an ink blended background using Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire. I used the Waffle Flower Snowfall Background Stencil with the Brutus Monroe Metallic Chroma Glaze in Opal. I stamped images from the Brutus Monroe Fall Prairie Stamp set in Brutus Monroe Sterling embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Brutus Monroe Seasonal Sentiments stamp set.
Thank you for visiting me today and I hope you check out all the new products from both Brutus Monroe and Waffle Flower.

I’m so excited to be apart of the hop! Here is my card.
This is a gatefold card but with a twist. The big coffee cup is popped up and hold the side gates in place. It unfolds showing several panels.
Folded the card measures 4×5.5 inches and will fit in an A2 size envelope. To make this card you need a piece of cardstock that is 11×5.5 inches. On the 11 inch side score on the following marks 1.75, 3.5, 5.25, 5.75, 7.5, 9.25. I cut panels for each section a quarter of an inch smaller than the one before so they nest inside of each other. The large coffee cup is from the Sweet N Sassy Stamps I Like Big Cups stamp set. I fussy cut the cup out then layered the cup with stamps from the Delightfully Delicate Background stamp and the Typewriter Text Background stamp.
The sentiment on the cup is from the Fill Me Up Clear set and the Love Wordfetti set. I only used a “you are” from the Love Wordfetti set to complete my sentiment.
I think this a fun “guy coffee card”! Thank you so much for visiting me today!

Whether you need some tissue because it’s allergy season or just because things are a little tough, it’s a great time to give tissue cards.
These little cuties hold a travel tissue packet . They also open and close so you can write a message and access the tissue. These are a cute little pick me up to give your friends and family or even a total stranger. Here are the items I used to make them and how to put them together.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card without the tissue packet.
To form the base you will need a piece of cardstock that is 9.75×4.25. Next you will need to score your base going left to right at 2.25 inches, 3.25, 5.5, 6.5, 8.75. This will fit most travel tissue packets. Then you will want to die cut an oval or rectangle out of the panel that is 2.25 inches wide, the one in the center. Burnish all your score lines and and adhere the last 1 inch section to the 1st one inch section. If you plan on stamping a pattern on your card stock like I did, then stamp before you burnish and glue the score lines, so your base is still flat. Once your base is finished, add some double sided tape to the back of the tissue packet and insert and stick it to the bottom of the holder you made. This will keep the tissue from sliding out, so your card will be portable. Make sure to open the tissue packet so the tissue can pop out of your opening and be easy to pull out.
Below are close ups of each tissue card and the stamps I used. All stamps are from Fun Stampers Journey, which is sold on the Spellbinder’s web site.
For this card I used the Spread Happiness Stamp and die set for the front of the card and the background stamping. The sentiment from the inside is from the Backyard Blooms Stamp set. I colored the flowers with Color Splash pencils, which are water color pencils. The base is Pineapple Smoothie cardstock with Lavender Fusion Gingham ribbon.
This tissue card has a base in Bubble Gum Cardstock. I stamped the background with the ATS stamp Ornate Blooms (no longer available). The front and inside sentiments are from the Divatude Stamp set. Black ribbon is from my stash.
I used Lavender Fusion cardstock for the base. The hydrangea and sentiments come from the Bloom Burst stamp set (no longer available). I used Huckleberry ink on the flower and Lemongrass on the leaves. The ribbon is from my stash.
I used Tin Pail cardstock, which is a really soft grey. I stamped it with the Flannel Life Background Stamp in Riverstone Ink. The critters are from the It’s Cold Outside stamp and die set. Inside sentiment is from Backyard Blooms. Ribbon is from my stash.
